UTLX No.25155 was built by the Union Tank Car Company in May 1923. The No.25155 was a steel tank car that had the capacity of 100,000 pounds and was non-pressurized with an expansion dome. The No.25155 was sold to the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and was known as the GDYR No.1.  The car was last used to store run-off from latex transfer operations on Pier 3 in Baltimore, Md. The Goodyear Company donated the No.25155 to the B&O Railroad Museum in 1995 and a year later it was transferred to the museum. The museum began to refurbish and repaint the No.25155 in September 1997.
