In 1926, the Pullman Company built the No. 7460 class S-14c sleeper car named the "Thendara" for the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad. The name "Thendara" was removed from the car in 1954. In 1956, the sleeper car was converted into B&O class A-35D, 62 seat coach and was renumbered as No.4723.

In 1965, the No.4723 retired from service. After its retirement, the No.4723 was used for maintenance of way services as an office and tool car. The No.4723 was renumbered to fit their maintenance of way numbering system as No.911559 in 1983. The No.911559 was last used for railroad purposes as offices in Somerset, Pennsylvania. The No. 911559 was donated to the B&O Railroad Museum in January 1997.
