This inaugural two-day event hosted by the B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore will showcase participating railroad historical societies, model train groups, museums and tourist railroads from the Mid-Atlantic region in the Museum's historic Roundhouse and in other areas throughout the Museum's campus. Visit to see displays, exhibits, railroad preservation projects, artifacts and learn about how these historical organizations work to preserve American railroading in the Mid-Atlantic region. The B&O Railroad Museum will also offer visitors behind-the-scenes tour of the #908 "John T. Collinson" office car, the "Dreamland" slumbercoach, and the PM-11 Diesel Electric Locomotive. Visitors may also take advantage of 10% discount at the Museum Store (some items excluded) and a specialty sale of railroad books and models.
Education Connection: I've Been Workin' on the Railroad 
Tuesday - Friday in October
10:00 a.m. - 12 Noon
Children enjoy Education Connection at Choo Choo Blue Kids Zone in the B&O Roundhouse. This month's program explores the ins and outs of railroad life on the rails and jobs held by engineers, conductors, curators and so many more occupations in this interactive series. Recommended for ages 2 and up.

Thrifty Tuesday
Tuesday, October 4
10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Visitors receive half off regular admission rates the first Tuesday of every month at the B&O Railroad Museum! All aboard for the most important American railroad collection in the world!
Toddler Time
Wednesday, October 5
10:30 a.m.
Toddler Time is held on the first Wednesday in October. Children listen to a classic railroad story, create a craft, and take a kiddie train ride through Choo Choo Blueville – all included with paid admission. Recommended for ages 2-5. Please note that this event promptly begins on time. 
Paint Nite
Thursday, October 6
7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
Location: The Tin Roof
Join us at The Tin Roof located at Power Plant Live, 32 Market Place, Baltimore, MD for Paint Nite. Break away from your typical night out. Relax, have a refreshment and paint away! An instructor will take you step by step through painting the picture while you enjoy some refreshments. $15 of every ticket will benefit the B&O Railroad Museum. To sign up please click here.

Witches & Wizards Weekend

Young "Wizards & Witches"  will love to explore the magic of railroading at the B&O! Take a train ride aboard the Wizards Express. Learn about the science of wizardry through the creation of edible "potions", wizard wands and hats, and much more! For more information click here
Toddler Time Halloween Celebration & Costume Parade with Choo Choo Blue

Join us for the year’s last Toddler Time, featuring a classic railroad story and Halloween celebration.Choo Choo Blue, the museum's mascot will lead the  costume parade of children around the Museum campus to collect special treats. Kiddie train ride too through the fictional town of Choo Choo Blueville! All included with paid admission. Recommended for children between the ages of 2-5.
