All Aboard for Train Rides!
Take a round trip ride along the first commercial mile of railroad track, recognized as the birthplace of American railroading. With paid admission, First Class train ride tickets are $10 adults, $6 children (ages 2 – 12), $4 B&O Members and Coach Class train ride tickets are $3 adults, $2 children (ages 2 – 12) and free for B&O Members.

Train rides are offered: Thursday & Friday at 11:30 AM | Saturday at 11:30 AM & 1 PM | Sunday at 1 PM

We hope you'll be able to attend Day Out With Thomas and join us for Thomas' birthday party this summer at our beautiful Museum.
Take a 25-minute train ride behind Thomas the Tank Engine, meet Sir Topham Hatt, and enjoy a day full of live entertainment, activities, and family fun! Some train rides may be sold out. Purchase admission on-site at the B&O Railroad Museum. Please note that everyone, including B&O members, will need to purchase a ticket for entrance into the museum during this six day event. Coupons, vouchers, discounts, consignment tickets, complimentary passes, membership cards, etc. are not accepted during Day Out With Thomas event days.

Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 1,500 museums across America. The B&O Railroad Museum is proud to partner with Blue Star Museums and offer active military personnel and up to five family members free admission to the museum from Monday, May 27 through Monday, September 2, 2019 withthe presentation of a Geneva Convention common access card, a DD Form 1173 ID card, or a DD Form 1173-1 ID.
