Dear B&O Railroad Museum Members and Guests,
As we encounter the ever-changing circumstances related to COVID-19, we find ourselves having to make unprecedented decisions about business as usual.  On March 15, we made the decision to temporarily close the Museum, adhering to CDC guidelines and joining the collective fight against the COVID-19 outbreak.  The Museum will remain temporarily closed until non-essential businesses are reopened in the state. All events in April are either cancelled or rescheduled, please check our website for updates.  We will reopen as soon as possible.  As the situation rapidly changes, we will continue to adapt our response and will inform you of our status.

In the interim, we encourage you to follow us and enjoy our posts on social media.  Every day on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, we have launched “B&O Train Talk,” a daily sharing of images and videos from our valued collection and archives accompanied by interesting stories and facts.

Additionally, we are providing educational and fun train-related stories and learning projects twice weekly for your young train fans at home.  These Junior Junction specials, featuring our Director of Education, Rebecca Funk, will air on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week via Facebook, Instagram and our website.

You can find us on Facebook at BandORailroadMuseum, Instagram at BORailroad and Twitter at borrm.  Please follow us and share with anyone who would enjoy learning more about this fascinating collection and its impact on American life!

Thank you for your continued support.  Please check our website for updates and expect a status update from me by March 31st.
Stay healthy and take care,

Kris Hoellen
