Visit America's Railroad Museum! The Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum offers individual and group admission rates.

Train rides are included in the price of admission Tuesdays-Sundays, April through December. Train rides are subject to change or cancellation without notice, and are not guaranteed with your visit.


Admission Rates:
Adults - $14
Seniors (60+) - $12
Children (ages 2-12) - $8
Children (under 2 years of age) - Free

Museum members receive FREE admission. Please visit our membership page for more information or to purchase a membership.


Group Admissions & Reservations
Bring your group of 20 or more people to the Museum and receive discounted admission. Group boxed lunches and rental facilities are also available. All group reservations must be made two weeks in advance.

Adult / Senior Groups
$10 per person
Discount is offered to groups of 20 or more adults or seniors. Bus driver receives complimentary admission.

School Groups
$ 6 per person
Discount is offered to school groups, Preschool-Grade 8. School groups must have 20 or more students and chaperones to receive group discount. Chaperones receive student group rate. One school teacher per class receives complimentary admission. Bus driver receives complimentary admission.

Chaperone Policy: All school groups must be chaperoned by a minimum of one (1) adult per every eight (8) children. Teachers and chaperones must supervise children at all times. Any group that does not have the proper supervision of children at the time of arrival will be required to reschedule the group's visit.

Identification Policy: School groups are also recommended to wear identification badges or clothing the day of the scheduled visit.

Youth Groups
$ 6 per person
Discount is offered to youth groups (ages 2-14) that may or may not be extracurricular to their school. Youth groups must have 20 or more children and chaperones to receive group discount. Chaperones receives youth group rate. Bus driver receives complimentary admission.

Group Reservation Policies

  1. Reservations - Must be made at least 10 business days prior to scheduled visit. Groups are scheduled Monday - Saturday, 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and Sunday, noon - 2:30 p.m. (Please allow 3 hours to tour the Museum's 40-acre campus.)
  2. Special Event Policy - Group reservations are not accepted during special events. Some dates may not be available.
  3. Deposit - A $50.00 non-refundable deposit from all groups is required for guaranteed reservation. Payment in full is required ten (10) days prior to scheduled visit or the group's reservation is subject to cancellation.
  4. Inclement Weather Policy - If the Museum is closed due to inclement weather on the day of a group's scheduled visit, the reservation will be rescheduled. No refunds will be offered.
  5. Food & Drink - No outside food or drink is allowed entrance into the Museum. The Museum's Iron Horse Cafe is open seasonally. Only food or drink purchased at the Iron Horse Café may be eaten inside the café or in the backyard picnic area. Pre-ordered box lunches are available year-round to groups and must be ordered at least two weeks in advance.
  6. Parking - Free parking is available for vans, buses and motor coaches.
  7. Train Rides - Offered Tuesday-Sunday during the months of April through December. No train rides offered January-March. Dates and times are subject to change or cancellation without notification and are not guaranteed with your visit. Please note the Restoration Facility Visit via the train ride is a (45) minute roundtrip experience; not recommended for children under (8) and not guaranteed with your visit.
