Saturday, March 9, 11am - 11:45am & 1pm-1:45pm

In this installment of our workshop series, students will learn about innovative technology as they work to design "engraving cylinders" like those used by the B&O's first female civil engineer, Olive Dennis, who patented the B&O Railroad's famous centenary china pattern. Students will design their own pattern and transfer to create a unique take-home plaque. Recommended for students in grades 1-5. Space is limited to 30 students per session. $5 per student with paid admission to the B&O Railroad Museum.
