Mob Cap

Usually made of fine linen or cotton, a mob cap was one of the head coverings always worn publicly by females indoors as well as outside. To be found capless was to be found in a state of undress.  In this century a mob cap is a fun dress up or role playing accessory.  Ours is made of cotton and fits children.
