During the Revolution, when Americans could not get English goods, weaving became a necessity and a patriotic duty.  Dozens of weaving "manufactories" opened to serve the American market.   This loom continues to be a popular item with children while giving them a small sampling of history.  Ages 4+ with a little help.  Extra loops available, sold separately.
