Dear Friends of the B&O Railroad Museum:

In addition to the heavy steel, lumber, and vinyl shelters protecting the locomotives and rolling stock from weather and falling debris during reconstruction, the pieces have been wrapped with large screens. These protective screens will shield the pieces from sunlight.

Included at the conclusion of this report's slideshow are two images illustrating the dramatic changes that have occurred in the Roundhouse since the collapse on February 17, 2003.
