After the construction team removed the lantern cap on January 7th (see Roundhouse Restoration Report Wednesday, January 7, 2004), they completed the removal of the clerestory roof. The only remaining upper portion of the Roundhouse that exists today is the interior compression ring. The lantern cap is in the backyard and engineers have begun to assess its structural integrity.
