Dear Friends of the B&O Railroad Museum:
On Thursday, March 18, 2004 Century Engineering passed on the following email to the Museum:
"Another historic moment occurred today in the re-birth of the Museum. This morning at about 9:00 a.m. Whiting Turner Contracting Co. released the shoring that was supporting the upper roof compression ring. The ring dropped about 1/8" to take up any slack in the system. This is such a small amount it is negligible. The upper roof is now functioning like a dome again and is performing as we expected. You are one step closer to having the roof complete."
Thank you for your continued support as The B&O Railroad Museum remains closed until further notice.
