B&O WINE TRAIN

 SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26

6:30 - 9 pm

Join us for a journey through time in celebration of the B&O’s 1830 horse-drawn inaugural journey from Ellicott’s Mills to Baltimore! Indulge in complementary pairings of wines and foods that would have been delicacies in the mid-19th century, carefully curated by The Back Yard Restaurant & Bar and wine expert Michael Cavanagh, who will present each pairing with background and history to bring your wine to life! Enjoy six wines complimented by six light course pairings served aboard the Mile One Express as you travel along the nation’s first mile of commercial railroad! Keep the Wine Train rolling at home with a special stemless B&O wine glass, included free with your ticket. This event will take place in our spacious, naturally ventilated historic Roundhouse. The Roundhouse's double doors will remain open to promote airflow and allow visitors to enjoy fresh evening breezes throughout the night.

Arrival, Seating, Introductions, and Plan For Evening: 6-6:30 PM

5-course Wine Class with Pairings: 6:30-8 PM
