All Aboard—Mile One Express Train Rides are back at the B&O!
Join us for the kick-off of Train Ride Season at the B&O Railroad Museum. An essential part of the B&O Railroad Museum experience, our Mile One Express Train Ride gives the visitors the chance to take an approximately 20-minute train ride along the nation’s first mile of commercial railroad! Tickets for the train ride can be purchased on-site here at the Museum.
The 11:30 AM train rides usually includes the opportunity to stop at the First Mile Stable. With the inclusion of this stop, the train ride is 40 minutes roundtrip. This stop is a working mounted unit, therefore schedules can change day of without notice. Please check with admissions staff on the day of your visit.

Observation Car Train Ride Tickets
Upgrade your Mile One Express Train Ride experience by riding in our first class car! Observation Car train rides offer visitors the chance to ride in the historic 1948 Royal Blue lounge car, enjoying light refreshments and an immersive train ride experience.
