A Conversation with J. Craig Thorpe

Join renowned railroad artist J. Craig Thorpe for a special presentation exploring the art, history, and cultural legacy of American railroading through paint and illustration. A nationally recognized artist whose work has been commissioned by organizations including Amtrak, General Electric, and the White Pass & Yukon Route, Thorpe will share stories from his career, discuss the inspiration behind his railroad artwork, and reflect on themes from his book, Railroads, Art and American Life: An Artist’s Memoir.

This was such an awesome experience! The trains inside were phenomenal and all very well kept. But we went ahead and did the train ride also and that was just icing on the cake! This is a great experience for kids, teens, and adults like myself.
