Mid-Atlantic Plein Air Painters Unveiling Ceremony | B&O Railroad Museum

A Special Unveiling

Experience a special art unveiling featuring the creative work from the Mid-Atlantic Plein Air Painters Association (MAPAPA). Each piece has been specially painted live on the B&O Railroad Museum’s grounds by a MAPAPA member. Select pieces will be available for purchase in the Museum Store—offering a unique chance to take home an original, locally inspired work of art.

About the Artists:

The Mid-Atlantic Plein Air Painters Association (MAPAPA) is dedicated to promoting the discipline of painting outdoors, as opposed to a studio, which is also known as plein air painting. They have been creating since 2003 and have played a major role in creating the painting competition “Paint Annapolis.” To learn more about them and their work, click here

This was such an awesome experience! The trains inside were phenomenal and all very well kept. But we went ahead and did the train ride also and that was just icing on the cake! This is a great experience for kids, teens, and adults like myself.
