All Aboard the Egg Express: B&O Railroad Museum Announces Annual Easter Extravaganza
Baltimore, MD — March 23, 2026 — The B&O Railroad Museum is proud to announce the return of its annual Easter celebration on April 4 and 5, 2026. This year’s “Egg-stra Special” weekend features a full schedule of family-oriented activities, including Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, two egg hunts across the historic campus, and a train ride with our floppy eared guest of honor.
The festivities begin Saturday morning, April 4. Guests can choose between Breakfast with the Easter Bunny–which includes a mouth-watering buffet, spirited egg hunt throughout the Roundhouse, and a train ride — or an Egg Hunt-only option, without the breakfast. On Sunday, April 5, at 9:15 am, the Museum will host its dedicated Sensory-Friendly Easter Egg Hunt. Designed specifically with neurodivergent guests in mind, this inclusive event features an egg hunt with allergen-free treats and small toys and fidgets in a supportive, low-stress environment. To ensure a comfortable experience for all, the Master of Hops will remain in a designated greeting area, inviting guests to approach for photos whenever they feel ready.
The Easter Bunny will also join guests on the 11:30 am train ride on Sunday, April 5.
“There is something truly magical about seeing the joy on a child’s face when they spot the Easter Bunny among our historic locomotives,” said Kris Hoellen, Executive Director of the B&O Railroad Museum. “The Roundhouse is the perfect backdrop for these family traditions, and we’ve designed this weekend to ensure every guest—from our youngest railfans to those who need a quieter environment—can share in the wonder of springtime at the B&O.”
Tickets for the Breakfast & Egg Hunt experience range from $30–$45, while the Saturday and Sunday Egg Hunt Only options range from $17–$25. B&O Members receive a $5 discount on breakfast and complimentary admission for the egg hunt portions of the weekend. Due to the high demand for these events, the museum strongly encourages advance ticket purchases. Tickets are available at borail.org.
The Museum is located at 901 W. Pratt Street, Baltimore, MD 21223, and offers free on- site parking.
