Call for Volunteers!

Event Dates: April 25 & 26 and May 2 & 3, 2026

We are looking for volunteers to help make this event a fun experience for the entire family!  We will need help in the following roles for the event:

  • Admissions
  • Photo Line Attendants
  • Car Hosts/Performers
  • Sir Topham Hatt
  • Play Areas
  • Thomas Gift Shop
  • Character Support
  • Moon Bounce Supervision (Aged 18+)

This is an excellent opportunity for youth to collect service hours and support a fun kid friendly event!

No prior knowledge needed; all training necessary will take place onsite. If you are engaging and excited to create a fun atmosphere to young children and their families, this event is for you! Free food is provided! Volunteers need to arrive on time at the Main Museum campus, 901 W Pratt Street.

The Underground Railroad exhibit particularly made an impression. You can learn about the enslaved people who passed through Mount Clare Station as their last stop before reaching the northern states. Sobering and inspiring stories.
