Sensory Sundays Continue in 2026!
At the B&O, select Sundays are dedicated to Sensory Awareness. These days include environmental accommodations (no music, low lighting, quiet areas, increased signage for areas with sound effects), as well as sensory-friendly events (kids craft, train ride, and tour) and resources (sensory kits, social stories, and community table).

June 7 – Under the Sea

- Tour: Maryland on the Rails
October 4 – Woodland Adventures

- Tour: Presidential Passages

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
- 10 AM – Museum Opens (sensory activity and resource table* available in Roundhouse while supplies last)
- 12:30 PM – Sensory-friendly Train Ride**
- 2:30 PM – Sensory-friendly Tour
*Specific activities and resources will differ for each date.
** Train Ride will not be available on February 1, 2026 Sensory Sunday. Train ride tickets available for purchase on-site.
