This fall, we’ll be celebrating Baltimore’s storied history of screen painting with The Painted Screen Society of Baltimore.

Come on into the Museum from October 27 through November 10 to see select works of art on display in the Roundhouse, courtesy of The Painted Screen Society of Baltimore.

If you’re feeling inspired yourself, there will be Sip & Paints for adults and classes for kids on select dates. Michael Seipp will also be doing a live workshop and demonstration on the history of painted screens throughout Baltimore.

Kids’ Screen Painting Workshop

November 5 & November 8, 1:30-3:30 PM
On November 5 and November 8, we’ll be celebrating Baltimore’s storied history of screen painting with The Painted Screen Society of Baltimore. Michael Seipp will be doing a live workshop and demonstration on the history of painted screens throughout Baltimore. All materials for kids will be provided. At the end of the workshop, they will leave with their own 8×10 painted screen.


Sip & Screen Paint Workshop (21+)

November 2, 6-9 PM
On November 2, we’ll be celebrating Baltimore’s storied history of screen painting with The Painted Screen Society of Baltimore. Michael Seipp will be doing a live workshop and demonstration on the history of painted screens throughout Baltimore. Participants have the option of bringing their own window screen from home or creating up to three mini screens (8×10). Beer and wine will be available for purchase.
