Sensory-Friendly Easter Egg Hunt | B&O Railroad Museum

Join the B&O for a fun kick-off to Easter weekend! 

Children 10 and under are invited to participate in the B&O’s annual Easter Egg Hunt! Celebrate the holiday and search for eggs around the Roundhouse. Afterwards, join us for a train ride on the Mile One Express!

Our sensory-friendly egg hunt offers accommodations including pre-visit resources, a visual schedule of the event, a detailed map of campus identifying onsite resources, noise cancelling headphones and a designated quiet room.

B&O Members
Museum Admission – FREE
Train Ride – FREE
Egg Hunt – $6

Advance purchase recommended. Event may sell out. Discount available for B&O Members. 


After the egg hunt, don’t forget to commemorate the day with photos with the Easter Bunny!

Professional 5×7 or 4 wallet-sized photos with the Easter Bunny by Libelle Photo will be available April 18 & 19, 10 am – 3 pm.

Wonderful rail museum with many historic engines, passenger cars, mail car, troop transport, and more. Several models layouts including the Smithsonian collection of models which was amazing. Wonderful presentation on the underground railroad. We will visit again.
