From Biscuits to Freedom Cake: The Culinary Journey of Henry “Box” Brown - National Museum of Railroad History & Innovation

As part of monthly programming for our new exhibition, The Underground Railroad: Freedom Seekers on the B&O Railroad, 19th Century food and beverage historian, Nancy Siegel, will be leading a discussion and food tasting centered on the food that Henry “Box” Brown ate prior to, during, and after his journey on the Underground Railroad. Join us at the National Museum of Railroad History & Innovation for this culinary experience on Saturday, October 22, from 1–3 PM.
